Texas here we come!

After the first few successful screenings at Manhattan College, U. of AZ and NM State, director/producer John J. Valadez heads off to Texas, the state where it all began. The Texas dates are below and begin Monday Oct. 11 at Mountain View College in Mountain View, TX.

More than 60 years ago in the tiny town of Three Rivers, TX, the Longoria Affair drama would unfold and eventually envelop the state, our politics and a civil rights movement.

We are grateful to all the colleges, universities, professors and folks throughout Texas who have participated in the film as well as expressed their support for it. We are especially grateful to the various GI Forum chapters in Texas who are hosting screenings and mobilizing their membership to attend, spread the word and tune in on Nov. 9 to watch the film, which will air in Spanish simultaneously via the SAP channel.

We also want to encourage everyone to visit www.thelongoriaaffair.com to watch the entire film in Spanish, immediately after the air date.
